🌍 Our Projects Transforming Communities Across Somalia The Somali Community Foundation is proud to lead and support a wide range of humanitarian and development projects across southern, central, and eastern Somalia including Barawe, Baidoa, Kismayo, Mogadishu, and Sanaag Bari Our mission is to uplift vulnerable communities through sustainable and impactful initiatives. 1. Health & Nutrition Mobile health clinics for IDPs and remote villages Nutrition support for malnourished children and mothers Emergency medical assistance during crises 2. Education & Youth Empowerment School supplies and uniforms for orphaned and poor children Support for Quranic and Islamic learning centers Life skills training and awareness sessions for youth 3. Food Security & Ramadan Iftar - Monthly food distributions to families in need - Ramadan Iftar programs in rural and urban areas - Special support during drought and flooding seasons 4. Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) - Construction of clean water wells in drought-affected regions - Repairing and maintaining damaged wells - Hygiene promotion and water access for IDPs 5. Mosque & Community Infrastructure - Building new mosques in underserved villages - Rehabilitating and expanding existing mosques - Providing prayer mats, Qurans, and speakers 6. Orphan Support & Eid Programs - Clothing and gifts for orphans during Eid - Monthly care packages for orphaned families - Quran distribution to orphanage centers 7. Elderly Support - Direct cash assistance to vulnerable elderly people - Home visits and personal care packages 8.
